Enjoying the firepit

We have been talking for quite a while about getting a fire pit for the backyard and finally got one on Sunday. Last night after the girls went to bed, we enjoyed our dinner and dessert out there. We were outside by the fire for a couple hours just talking, It was so nice to relax. It definitely made us miss Carpinteria! It will also be a great way to get rid of a bunch of the stuff Tom pulled out of the back part of our yard while getting the garden ready.

We haven't roasted marshmallows yet, but maybe one night next week. :)
