Jewlery Box

Today, we took Sage to Lowe's to make a Jewelry Box. (Thank goodness Tom was off so he could do it with her. It would have been a little tough without him.) When we got there, she got an apron (which she got to keep), safety goggles, a hammer and the jewelry box kit.


She did such a good job. We were surprised what good hand/eye coordination she had when hammering. I think she only got Tom's fingers 3 times, which is pretty good considering how many nails they had to hammer in. :)


When she was done, she got a certificate of completion and a badge to put on her apron.


When we got home she decided to paint it. What a great free Valentine's Day activity. Thanks Lowe's. Maybe we'll enlist Uncle Chuck's help one Saturday morning and try another one. :)
