Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving was very different for us this year now that we live so far from our parents. We are blessed to have been relocated near other family though, and while it wasn't the same, it was great to spend the holiday with them (and a few friends).
On Wednesday, we prepared most of the food. It was a pretty busy day, but that meant Thursday was very relaxing. We cooked a little in the morning and then we were able to relax and watch the parade in the later part of the morning. Molly took a very long nap which gave us a little break. (She's been pretty fussy lately!)
Family and friends started to arrive around 2:30 and we ate at 4. There were 16 of us in all: the 4 of us, Uncle Chuck, Aunt Patti, Anna, Aunt Carol, Uncle Dave, David, Shawna, Eli, Zoe, Dade, Charlene and Harold (2 of Amie's neighbors). After dinner we played Apples to Apples. A new game to us, but a lot of fun!
I am so thankful for everything that God has given us and as always, enjoyed the day to remember that.

Here are some pictures from our day . . .
Molly's first Thanksgiving dinner (kind of . . . I guess Saturday's dinner at Eli and Shawna's was technically the first, but this was actually on Thanksgiving day).
